Description:

HappyCo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Mobile) to join their team in Adelaide, SA.
The role involves developing mobile applications to enhance customer experiences and contribute to the growth of mobile application features.
As a Senior Engineer, you will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to advance the technology roadmap and uplift the technical capability within the Engineering team.
You will identify potential problems and risks in code and feature design, communicating these with peers.
The position requires breaking down moderately complex products and features into tasks for collaborative delivery, ensuring early value for customers.
Mobile engineers primarily work on Mobile Applications using Flutter but are encouraged to develop end-to-end solutions across the full technical stack, including React and Golang.
The onboarding process includes setting up the development environment, pushing your first mobile change, familiarizing yourself with the company culture, and interacting with customers to understand their needs.

Requirements:

Candidates must have relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent practical experience in software development.
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in software development is required.
Experience in developing mobile applications using Flutter is essential.
Candidates should demonstrate experience in building solutions based on user understanding and business objectives.
The ability to break complex solutions into development iterations that provide early customer value is necessary.
A sound understanding of mobile design, architectural patterns, and coding practices is required.
Experience with software development and quality processes, particularly Agile methodologies, is essential.
A positive work attitude and a growth mindset are important for this role.
Candidates must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment across multiple time zones, requiring effective asynchronous communication.
