Description:

EarnIn is seeking experienced, collaborative, and resourceful engineers to join the Consumer Identity team.
The role involves working cross-functionally with various teams to design and develop identity and authorization services.
Responsibilities include designing, architecting, and implementing identity management solutions that meet security and scalability requirements.
The engineer will integrate identity services into applications, ensuring a cohesive user experience across multiple platforms.
Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in identity management is essential, along with identifying opportunities for process improvements.
The position requires driving the design and implementation of new features, breaking down complex problems, and creating high-quality, clean code.
The engineer will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of community members.
Collaboration and mentorship of other engineers through code, design, and architecture reviews is expected.
A passion for producing high-quality, efficient designs and code is crucial.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of delivering value through software in a collaborative environment.
Familiarity with authentication protocols and standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML is required.
Knowledge of access control schemes, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and identity and access management (IAM) concepts is necessary.
Prior experience with at least one identity management system, such as Keycloak, Okta, or Auth0, is essential.
Candidates should have experience with JVM-based languages like Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
Experience with frontend development using React or similar frameworks is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, result-driven environment is important.
Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $169,700 - $207,500, plus equity and benefits.
