Description:

BioRender is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help accelerate the world’s ability to discover, learn, and communicate science through visuals.
The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and data scientists to shape a roadmap for scientific collaboration.
The engineer will take end-to-end ownership of key components of the codebase, ensuring features are robust, secure, scalable, and maintainable.
Responsibilities include designing and building secure integrations between BioRender and users’ core tools.
The engineer will evolve the suite of admin tooling to help enterprise administrators manage users and content effectively.
The position requires driving creative problem-solving by embracing ambiguity and developing innovative solutions.

Requirements:

Candidates should be user-focused and impact-driven, prioritizing real value delivery to users while balancing quality and speed.
A genuine curiosity about AI and a passion for exploring and applying emerging tools in real-world projects is essential.
Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS), NodeJS/ExpressJS, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) is required.
Experience with MongoDB/NoSQL databases for efficient data management is necessary.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are needed to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Candidates should have a builder mentality with 7+ years of full-stack development experience, having built products from concept to production.
