Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Material Bank is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Front-End focused to develop a new consumer-facing website.
• The role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to create innovative products using cutting-edge technology.
• Responsibilities include providing input on technology and tools, defining integration standards, and engineering critical aspects of the site such as SEO, site analytics, and monitoring.
• The engineer will work closely with backend teams, optimize UI components for performance and scalability, and ensure a smooth user experience.
• Other tasks include translating wireframes into interactive interfaces, maintaining documentation, and implementing SEO, site analytics, and A/B testing strategies.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Computer Science is required.
• Must have 5+ years of expertise in React and related libraries for developing complex user interfaces.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and collaboration with designers is necessary.
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team are required.
• Experience with e-commerce customer portals and CommerceTools is preferred.
