Description:

Foley is revolutionizing the way companies recruit, screen, and monitor drivers, and is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team.
The role involves extensive experience in Software Development, Architecture, Object-Oriented Design, and industry best practices.
The company uses a full Microsoft stack, including .NET, C#, SQL Server, Azure, and related tools to build and maintain applications.
The Senior Software Engineer will drive the direction of software development capabilities and evaluate current and prospective tools and technologies.
The position is remote, open to residents in specific states, and starts at $125k annually.
Responsibilities include learning Foley’s products, meeting teammates, understanding development processes, and participating in scrum events.
Within the first six months, the engineer will contribute to a scrum team, help foster a culture of collaboration, triage and debug issues, and provide technical guidance.

Requirements:

Candidates must have an excellent grasp of fundamental engineering concepts and extensive knowledge of Scrum or Agile development.
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written, and verbal communication skills are required.
A desire for continual improvement and a strong appetite for change is essential.
Significant experience in building and running .NET Core applications, APIs, and services is necessary.
Proficiency in C# and a deep understanding of the latest versions of the language is required.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of the MVC design pattern, .NET dependency injection, and middleware.
Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and inheritance is essential.
The ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and strong documentation, organizational, and planning skills are required.
Familiarity with cloud-native technologies, infrastructure as code tools, container and orchestration technologies, and various database products is necessary.
Experience with XML, JSON, HTML5, Javascript, and CSS is also required.
