Description:
Magnet Forensics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Waterloo, Ottawa, or Ontario.
The company is a global leader in digital investigative software development for acquiring, analyzing, and sharing evidence from various devices.
The role involves participating in support calls, troubleshooting customer environment problems, developing production code, and creating technical documentation.
The engineer will work in a small team, take ownership of code quality, provide technical leadership, and collaborate actively with team members.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, proficiency in object-oriented programming languages like C# and .Net, and experience in AWS/Azure ecosystem.
Additional skills such as experience in Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm chart, Linux, Python, and front-end technologies like React/Typescript are considered assets.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages like C# and .Net.

Experience in Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm chart, Linux, Python is an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
