Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• PayFit is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Declarations Solutions team responsible for submitting financial documents to various organizations.
• The role involves contributing to the entire development process, from system design to delivery and monitoring.
• The team has developed a solution to manage the lifecycle of declarations, including reviewing documents, validating syntax, submitting to organizations, tracking submission status, and managing tasks based on feedback.
• The position offers exciting architectural challenges across different countries.
• The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience, expertise in Domain-Driven design and Event-Driven Architecture, familiarity with AWS services, Infrastructure as Code, and writing RFCs.
• The candidate should be a problem solver, team player, fluent in English, and comfortable with best practices in engineering.
• Additional skills in Typescript, Node.js, React, and the Javascript ecosystem are a plus.
• The role involves working in a team of 4 Software Engineers, led by an Engineering Manager and a Product Manager.
• The hiring process includes initial calls, technical interviews, and meetings with the team and Engineering Director.

Requirements:

• Senior Engineer with 6+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with Domain-Driven design and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Comfortable with AWS services, especially serverless components.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code and deploying various projects.
• Ability to write RFCs, discuss them, and reach conclusions.
• Problem solver with a focus on delivering value.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Familiarity with Typescript, Node.js, React, and the Javascript ecosystem is a plus.
