Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• WorkStep is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to collaborate with the team in designing, building, and delivering scalable enterprise-grade software solutions.
• The role involves serving as an expert on data structures, access patterns, and conventions, consistently delivering high-quality code.
• Responsibilities include developing technical specifications for customer-facing products and setting technical standards for the engineering team.
• The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, quick learner of new technologies, and adept at mastering unfamiliar topics.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in writing production-grade software.
• Proficiency in developing large applications using React and TypeScript.
• Experience in building scalable backends with Python and familiarity with SQLAlchemy or similar ORM.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and ability to create technical specifications and other technical documentation.
• Proven track record of overseeing technical implementations by collaborating closely with team members.
