Description:

Vendavo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Extension team, focusing on developing a new Federated API solution and guiding product teams on API integration.
The role involves working with technologies such as Java/Kotlin, GraphQL, Spring Boot, Micronaut, Apollo/DGS, Kafka, Flink, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Git, and React.
Responsibilities include selecting the best tools for tasks, managing all aspects of the product from implementation to operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including software developers, product managers, UX designers, and business analysts.
The engineer will gather requirements, ensure successful integration outcomes, and communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software engineering is also essential.

Requirements:

Candidates must be enthusiastic about working with multiple technologies and willing to learn and work independently.
Experience with complex web applications and JVM-based languages, particularly Java and preferably Kotlin, is required.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are necessary, with the ability to identify and address issues promptly and effectively.
A positive team player attitude is essential, along with fluency in English for effective communication in an international environment.
Experience with microservice-oriented architectures, DevOps, continuous delivery, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS), Kubernetes, Terraform, and front-end skills (e.g., React, TypeScript, or Python) is beneficial.
