True Anomaly is seeking a highly-experienced senior software engineer to lead the development of a distributed spacecraft ground control system.
The role involves designing and developing the architecture of complex software systems for mission planning in space battle management, incorporating real-time data processing and visualization using Elixir.
Responsibilities include conducting performance analysis and optimization of software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, and contributing to research and development initiatives.

Candidates do not need prior experience in aerospace or building space ground systems.

Requirements:

A strong engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics is required.
Candidates should have 5-7 years of software development experience.
Proven experience in developing resilient and fault-tolerant architecture is necessary.
Demonstrated leadership ability and exceptional written and oral communication skills are essential.
Candidates should enjoy debugging and repairing live systems and have experience with distributed systems.
The ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and detailed requirements is required.
Candidates must be capable of solving complex technical problems with little oversight.

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $130,000 to $210,000 depending on experience level.
