Description:
Raisely is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on robust and performant JavaScript supporting charity fundraisers globally.
The role involves collaborating with a small team to integrate products, add new features, address tech debt, enhance test coverage, and ensure code quality in production.
The position focuses on backend development (APIs/databases/authentication) but requires the ability to contribute across the full stack.
Responsibilities include supporting team members through constructive feedback, handling millions of daily API requests, and scaling code effectively.
The role offers the opportunity to work remotely, with a focus on covering specific time zones for team collaboration.
Initial tasks may include optimizing database queries, upgrading account management systems, enhancing security features, and providing feedback on code reviews.
Requirements:
Must enjoy problem-solving with code and demonstrate high technical competence.
Should be self-directed and able to manage workload independently within a given framework.
Must have a track record of shipping code to production and seeing projects through completion.
Should have experience mentoring other engineers to enhance technical and non-technical skills.
Must be passionate about making a positive impact and contributing to a better world.
