Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• LivePerson is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Front End development with expertise in Vue.js to join their team in Hyderabad, India.
• The selected candidate will work on the aiStudio team, focusing on the Data Science and Machine Learning (DSML) generative AI experimentation platform.
• Responsibilities include building features from scratch, maintaining existing components, working with generative AI and large language model functionality, collaborating with UX teams and Product Management, writing tests, and using the latest technologies to solve customer problems at scale.
• The role also involves a continuous focus on production readiness and contributing to the team's on-call rotation to improve incident coverage.
• The position requires 7 years of software development experience with a front-end focus, 5+ years of JavaScript experience at scale, 3+ years of experience in developing enterprise-level single-page applications using Vue.js, Angular, or React (Vue 3+ experience preferred), and 5+ years of experience in developing web applications using Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with Vue.js, GCP, Agile methodologies, and strong knowledge of web standards and protocols.
• Technologies used in this role include FastAPI, Vue.js, Python, TypeScript, Docker, Google Cloud Platform, Gitlab, Firebase Firestore, Elasticsearch, Firebase Authentication, OAuth2.0, and more.

Requirements:

• 7 years of software development experience with a front-end focus.
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript at scale.
• 3+ years of experience in developing enterprise-level single-page applications using Vue.js, Angular, or React (Vue 3+ experience preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in developing web applications, including Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and production readiness.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic about the end customer experience.
• Experience with globally distributed teams in multiple time zones.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or equivalent.
