Description:

Shakudo is building the world’s first operating system for data and AI, designed for modern data and AI workflows.
The role is for offshore Senior Software Engineers who will help shape the next era of intelligent systems.
Responsibilities include developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining the Shakudo data and AI operating system.
Engineers will participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
The position requires effective communication and support across functions to achieve results.
Team members will help define the team roadmap and architecture based on technology and business needs.
Participation in the on-call rotation for global production systems is required to ensure high availability and performance.
Engineers will engage in peer code reviews and knowledge sharing across time zones.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of software development experience in a tech company.
Experience in building end-to-end systems with databases, authentication, workflow tools, and modeling tools is required.
A bias for action and an ownership mentality are essential.
Candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working cross-functionally with product management is necessary.
Startup experience at a tech company is preferred.
Nice to have: Previous experience working with or contributing to open-source tools.
Nice to have: Experience working at early-stage startups.
Nice to have: Full-stack experience, including frontend development, is a strong plus.
