Protegrity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their software product development team, focusing on creating an enterprise data security ecosystem for global organizations.
The role involves contributing to cutting-edge research, development, and feature design/implementation in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and writing clean, scalable, and efficient code.
The engineer will participate in code reviews, develop and execute test plans, and continuously improve test coverage through automation.
The position requires a dynamic individual who can develop robust software solutions while ensuring the highest standards of quality through comprehensive testing and automation strategies.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of relevant experience in developing and integrating scalable solutions.
Proficiency in C/C++ programming, with a strong understanding of pointers, data structures, and algorithms is required.
Knowledge of Linux systems programming and experience with compiler and software build tools is essential.
Candidates should be capable of specifying, designing, implementing, debugging, and profiling high-performance systems software.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and profiling skills are necessary, along with a good understanding of networking protocols and inter-process communication concepts.
Familiarity with CI/CD systems, build automation tools, and source code management tools like GIT is required.
Knowledge of modern SDLC practices, agile methodologies, and tools such as JIRA is essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for collaboration within the team.
Candidates should have knowledge of containerized systems like Docker and Kubernetes, software performance measurements, and security requirements.
Experience with public cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.
