Description:
- The Senior Software Engineer at Experian will report to the Sr. Director, Product Development and work on Fraud North America software and platforms.
- The role involves focusing on migration to AWS Cloud, application modernization, containerization, Infra as code, and deployment automation.
- Applications supported include Precise ID, PID microservices, Precise Match, IEN, among others.
- The engineer will participate in a Fraud Technology Scrum team, working with a fair degree of autonomy under high-level direction.
- Key responsibilities include serving as a Technical SME for code and systems supporting Fraud applications, mentoring junior members, assisting with sprint planning, making code changes, and providing architectural design input.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Java and Spring development, AWS cloud, with JBOSS experience preferable.
- Proven experience with Microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and cloud-native development.
- Experience with SQL (Aurora MySQL) and NOSQL based RMDBs.
- Experience with Infrastructure as code tools (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, automation testing, and test-driven development.
