Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the Coalesce Front-end application, back-end, Coalesce CLI tool (coa), shared modules, and testing codebase.
• The role involves working with Typescript, React, Redux, and Node.js in a stack intentionally designed for efficient feature development.
• Responsibilities include refactoring code for reusability, building new features, identifying codebase improvements, participating in software design, testing, and customer support.
• The engineer will serve as an architectural resource, contribute to planning discussions, and work independently in a remote-first setting.
• Coalesce's mission is to improve the lives of data professionals by providing efficient data transformation solutions.

Requirements:

• Experience with Typescript, React Hooks + Redux, Node.JS, Javascript, CSS, or other strongly-typed languages like C++, Java, Go, Rust, or Python.
• Proficiency in Algorithms, Data Structures, Asynchronous programming, software design, and testing.
• Familiarity with transactions, synchronization, atomicity, idempotency, and distributed programming concepts.
• Interest in data analytics, building new software products, and a passion for building great software.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
