As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of major features and systems for a cloud-based SaaS platform.
You will architect complex solutions, mentor other engineers, and collaborate with product leadership to shape the technical roadmap.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent is typically required.
Experience with e-commerce, particularly with Shopify, is a plus.
Expert-level proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks for both frontend and backend development is necessary.
Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (React/Vanilla JavaScript, Shopify Liquid) and backend technologies (TypeScript, with Python or Ruby as a plus) is required.
Experience in implementing integration features and enhancing project foundations is essential.
A deep understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns is needed.
Proven experience in designing and building large-scale, distributed systems is required.
Extensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) is necessary.
Strong experience with DevOps practices and tools is required.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are essential.
Ability to thrive in a fully remote work environment, demonstrating self-motivation and effective communication is necessary.
Proven ability to mentor and guide other engineers is required.
Experience with performance tuning, security hardening, and system monitoring is necessary.
Experience leading and influencing technical direction within a team or organization is required.
