Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Montu, a leading health tech business in Australia specializing in medical cannabis therapies, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing Engineering team.
• The role is fully remote within Australia, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
• The company aims to reshape the landscape for medical cannabis suppliers, practitioners, pharmacies, and patients by leveraging technology.
• The Senior Software Engineer will work on various projects, including implementing event-driven architecture, transitioning to commoditized software solutions, leveraging omni-channel inputs, and conducting a cloud re-architecture.
• The tech stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, React, and various databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB.
• The ideal candidate should have senior-level experience in full-stack development, proficiency in TypeScript, NodeJS, GraphQL, and React, and experience with cloud ecosystems like AWS.
• An interest and understanding of the medicinal cannabis industry is a strong plus for this role.

Requirements:

• Senior level experience in full-stack development, preferably in SaaS.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, NodeJS, GraphQL, and React.
• Pragmatism in choosing solutions and flexibility in adjusting along the way.
• Resourcefulness in finding minimal but viable solutions to new requirements.
• Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Professional experience with Node.js and cloud ecosystems such as AWS (CloudFront, SES, SQS, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience in SQL databases.
• Keen interest and understanding of the medicinal cannabis industry.
