Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Join the Incident Response team at Semperis as a Senior Backend Software Engineer to work on developing a new SaaS-based product.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge security and identity products.
• Participate in the design and implementation of a new cloud-based software product.
• Write stable, scalable, and well-tested code packaged as microservices.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to the development and design of the new product.
• Utilize advanced technologies and work within a microservice architecture.
• Work with asynchronous and synchronous GRPC/HTTP-based requests and event-based messaging systems.
• Have experience with containerized applications in Kubernetes within a CI/CD environment.
• Familiarity with document databases, data modeling, and modern cloud-based infrastructure.
• Demonstrate proficiency in C#, agile development methodologies, and effective communication skills.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in C# with a proven track record of producing production-ready code.
• Proficiency in working with containerized applications in Kubernetes within a CI/CD environment using Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Expertise in microservice architecture, including knowledge of asynchronous and synchronous GRPC/HTTP-based requests.
• Experience with event-based messaging systems like Service-Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with document databases such as Cosmos, Couch, or Mongo and data modeling.
• Knowledge of modern cloud-based infrastructure like Azure/AWS and agile development methodologies.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills with internal team members and external stakeholders.
• Strong work ethic and a team player attitude.
