Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer position involves designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable web applications using Node.js, focusing on clean and well-documented code.
• Responsibilities include building secure APIs for data access, working with MySQL and MongoDB databases, and utilizing Python for scripting and data analysis tasks.
• The role also involves integrating backend functionalities with React.js applications, deploying applications in the cloud using AWS services, and implementing Docker containers for packaging and deployment.
• Other tasks include writing unit tests, working within an Agile development methodology, and having experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have 8 to 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong experience with Node.js, good knowledge of MySQL and MongoDB, and working experience with Python are required.
• Proficiency in SQL query language, familiarity with AWS services, Docker for containerization, and writing unit tests using frameworks like Jest or Mocha are essential.
• Experience in Backend & Frontend Development, exposure to CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with containers like Docker and Kubernetes, and knowledge of other front-end frameworks such as React.js are desired.
• Ability to understand new problem/business domains, experience with agile development methodologies, and familiarity with scrum processes are advantageous.
