Tapcart is a mobile commerce platform that powers mobile apps for over 50 million consumers worldwide, processing over $6 billion in mobile commerce revenue.
The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the Platform Engineering team by developing innovative, customer-facing products, SDKs, and APIs for the mobile app authoring platform.
This role involves working on a variety of projects with a small team, focusing on backend and cloud technologies in a cloud full-stack role.
The candidate will be responsible for building and deploying new microservices in a cloud environment, optimizing cloud infrastructure for cost and performance, and ensuring enterprise-grade security and compliance.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about cutting-edge technologies, experienced in iterative development, and able to translate business and functional requirements into production-ready stacks.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5-7 years of experience in software engineering.
Expertise with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is required.
The ability to architect software solutions and obtain buy-in from stakeholders is essential.
Proven experience in defining API schemas and managing changes over time is necessary.
Experience in system architecture design, application development, and DevOps is required.
Proficiency with technologies such as Node.js, Javascript/Typescript, Docker, and Kubernetes is needed.
Experience with React is mandatory.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools for provisioning cloud infrastructure and deploying software is required.
Experience working with NoSQL and SQL databases is necessary.
Nice-to-haves include experience with React Native, Next.js, CSS and CSS preprocessors, and/or mobile development.
