Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Education Perfect is an EdTech platform focused on empowering educators to personalize learning with a variety of tools.
• The Senior Full-Stack Engineer will join the EdPotential team to work on the school data analytics product.
• Responsibilities include developing secure, scalable cloud services using Java, GWT, Terraform, Python, SQL, and other tools as needed.
• Collaborate with a high-performing team to solve customer problems efficiently and contribute to technical improvements.
• Emphasize best practices in data, security, and development processes to create a user-friendly product.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and operating cloud software at scale.
• Previous experience in a startup environment, working in a small team with agility.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and make informed decisions aligned with product goals.
• Capacity to manage risk, ambiguity, and dependencies, with a growth mindset and ownership mentality.
• Experience with data pipeline tools and/or charting and reporting libraries is advantageous.
