The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of the SaaS infrastructure.
This role involves partnering across engineering and product teams to create scalable, secure, and reliable systems that meet the demands of a growing customer base.
The position requires balancing hands-on technical work with strategic decision-making, fostering a culture of automation, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Key accountabilities include overseeing the migration of key services to modern cloud-native infrastructure, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, implementing monitoring and logging systems, auditing current infrastructure, owning the technical vision for DevOps, leading incident response, mentoring junior engineers, building infrastructure as code, and collaborating with various teams.
Requirements:
A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or site reliability engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership role is required.
Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, focusing on designing and managing scalable infrastructure is essential.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is necessary.
A strong background in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is required.
A proven track record of building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for efficient and secure deployments is needed.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack is required.
Familiarity with security best practices, including identity management, network security, and data protection is essential.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are necessary.
Preferred qualifications include certifications in cloud platforms, experience with incident management, knowledge of performance optimization and cost management in cloud environments, expertise in scripting and automation, familiarity with supporting data and machine learning platforms, and experience working in subscription-based business models or with large-scale consumer applications.
Benefits:
The salary for this role is $165,000 plus equity.
The position offers a 100% remote work environment.
