Description:
The Senior Software Engineer will work remotely from anywhere in Colombia on the Digital Experience Analytics (DXA) team.
This role focuses on delivering valuable insights into users' digital interactions to empower Fullstory customers.
The position requires a product-focused individual with a strong customer-centric mindset and a high level of ownership and autonomy.
Daily responsibilities include collaborating with Design, PM, and Engineering teams to plan, architect, and build complex features while maintaining effective communication.
The engineer will ideate on leveraging AI capabilities to enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities also include architecting and scaling systems that handle hundreds of thousands of requests per second using React, Typescript, and Go.
The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting Fullstory's production environment, proactively identifying issues, and improving system reliability and performance.
The engineer will drive improvements to engineering processes, tooling, and best practices, contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization.
Mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level engineers is also a key responsibility, including providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews.
Requirements:
A proven track record of building and maintaining large-scale, enterprise-grade web applications with excellent UX and performance is required.
Experience in leading cross-team technical initiatives and making architectural decisions that impact multiple products/services is necessary.
The candidate must have the ability to lead and mentor other engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, along with experience writing Go code in a production environment.
Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing) is required for collaboration with US-based teams, including daily communication and technical discussions.
Experience with multi-product architecture and the latest AI trends (LLMs, RAG, Vector Databases, etc.) is a plus.
