The company is building a cloud-based data and application platform that empowers institutions and students by providing actionable insights and analytics directly in the education sector.
The Senior Software Engineer will be a key member of the product customization team, responsible for building and maintaining student-oriented applications.
Engineers are expected to think beyond just coding and consider how their work can better assist Civitas clients.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining scalable web applications, developing new features, and improving existing products to meet client needs.
The role involves leading other talented engineers in software engineering design and best practices with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5-10+ years of experience in software engineering.
Experience in designing, building, and debugging multi-tenant RESTful services is required.
Candidates should have experience in designing, debugging, and building modern web applications.
Proficiency in some of the following areas is necessary: JavaScript/TypeScript/React, relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc.) with strong SQL skills, Java, and C#.
An intermediate level of English reading comprehension is required.
Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) is a significant advantage.

The position offers a remote work opportunity for candidates in Latin America.
The salary range for this role is $35,000—$40,000 USD.
