Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• KarmaCheck, a technology startup founded by Eric Ly, is seeking Senior Software Engineers to join their team.
• The company is focused on revolutionizing digital identity verification within the healthcare credentialing sector of the Background Check industry.
• The role involves designing and implementing solutions to scale and enhance the KarmaCheck platform while maintaining high security standards.
• Senior Software Engineers will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a cross-functional Agile team to build scalable APIs and web application features using Javascript/Typescript (NodeJS).
• Responsibilities include participating in technical product development sessions, enhancing development processes, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement.
• The position is 100% remote with occasional paid travel for company/team meetings.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Full Stack design and development experience.
• 5+ years of Javascript experience with a focus on Node JS.
• 3+ years of software development on AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Cloudwatch, RDS, etc).
• Experience with async data integration patterns, modern front-end frameworks, SQL (preferably MySQL), and server-side communications with 3rd party APIs.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a startup environment and a passion for building great software.
