Description:

Transform business and technical requirements into quality code and features
Cover code with efficient unit tests to meet and exceed high-quality code standards
Implement bug fixes on a designated client project and identify root causes of bugs
Participate in daily code reviews and provide valuable feedback to other engineers
Work closely with the team to ensure proper implementation of project functionality
Actively participate in team meetings and brainstorm activities related to project issues
Follow Java development standards and best practices
Work with Solution Architect to transform high-level designs into coded solutions
Develop microservices to support modern composable architectures
Become a certified developer for Commercetools commerce platform
Be a strong team player focused on collaboration and continuous integration

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in eCommerce software such as SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or VTEX
Knowledge of modern architectures like cloud-native and micro-services
Experience in the eCommerce space, front-end solutions, and integrations of JQuery, NodeJS, and AngularJS
Familiarity with B2C, B2B e-commerce, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), GitLab CI/CD, Java, JavaScript, and Web Development (HTML 5, CSS3)
