Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Transform business and technical requirements into quality code and features
• Cover code with efficient unit tests to meet and exceed high-quality code standards
• Implement bug fixes on a designated client project and identify root causes of bugs
• Participate in daily code reviews and provide valuable feedback to other engineers
• Work closely with the team to ensure proper implementation of project functionality
• Actively participate in team meetings and brainstorm activities related to project issues
• Follow Java development standards and best practices
• Work with Solution Architect to transform high-level designs into coded solutions
• Develop microservices to support modern composable architectures
• Become a certified developer for Commercetools commerce platform
• Be a strong team player focused on collaboration and continuous integration

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in eCommerce software such as SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or VTEX
• Knowledge of modern architectures like cloud-native and micro-services
• Experience in the eCommerce space, front-end solutions, and integrations of JQuery, NodeJS, and AngularJS
• Familiarity with B2C, B2B e-commerce, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), GitLab CI/CD, Java, JavaScript, and Web Development (HTML 5, CSS3)
