Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• WorkStep is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to collaborate with the team in designing, building, and delivering scalable enterprise-grade software solutions.
• The role involves serving as an expert on data structures, access patterns, and conventions, consistently delivering high-quality code.
• Responsibilities include developing technical specifications for customer-facing products and crafting technical standards for the engineering team.
• The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and thinker, eager to learn unfamiliar technologies and master new topics quickly.

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of experience writing production-grade software.
• Experience developing large applications with React.
• Ability to work directly with a Design Team to translate designs into code.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong understanding of REST principles and relational databases.
