Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• GoDaddy is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in India, working remotely.
• The role involves designing and implementing pioneering Data & ML services, focusing on innovation and advanced technology.
• The engineer will lead the development of new and existing products, processes, and systems, while mentoring and coaching other engineers.
• Responsibilities include designing and expanding ML services, architecting secure and scalable services, and collaborating on a high-impact Scrum team.
• The engineer will participate in DevOps, release, and on-call activities, monitor engineering metrics, and contribute to technology working groups.
• The position offers the opportunity to work with AWS and develop next-generation infrastructure services.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in developing and deploying production software.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in building real-time and batch APIs and web services, with hands-on experience in Microservices architecture is necessary.
• A strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and best practices is essential.
• Proficiency in Java or Python programming languages is required.
• Experience with DevOps practices is necessary.
• A BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree is preferred.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks, managing Kubernetes clusters, and operationalizing machine learning models is a plus.
• Familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript, entitlement and IAM policy, and A/B testing platforms is advantageous.
• Experience in an Agile software development environment is preferred.
