Description:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead our Contact Center Application Development Teams to empower our customers with capabilities that shorten their time to action within our flagship product, Calabrio One.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and owning applications across our full tech stack, including telephony, cloud-scale APIs, and user interfaces.
As part of an Agile team, you will build scalable front-end applications using React and contribute to a micro frontend architecture using module federation.
You will develop backend services using object-oriented languages, the AWS platform, RDS, DynamoDB, API, Python, and the Django framework.
You will collaborate on cloud-native designs and implement scalable AWS-based infrastructure solutions.
You will lead issue resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning within the team’s domain.
You will participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and planning ceremonies.
You will support cross-team initiatives and promote best practices across the organization.
You will support the development of a best-in-class engineering team by reinforcing engineering best practices through code reviews, solution design, and leading by example.
Requirements:
Familiarity with AWS cloud services; AWS Developer certification is a strong plus.
Demonstrated knowledge of modern software engineering best practices, including security, coding standards, code reviews, source control, CI/CD, testing, and operations.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools, Git, and collaborative development workflows.
Exposure to monitoring and observability tools, such as Datadog and the EFK/ELK stack.
Strong communication skills and experience working within distributed, cross-functional teams.
A B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant practical software development experience with expertise in at least one modern object-oriented language, such as Java.
Experience with microfrontend architecture and proficiency with React and modern front-end development practices is essential.

We offer market competitive pay and benefits based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications, with a targeted starting rate of pay for this salaried position at $100,000 annually.
