Description:
Prisma is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to building the data layer for modern applications.
The role involves working on services, APIs, and applications to expand the product offering while ensuring high quality in reliability, performance, and maintainability.
Collaboration with other teams and engineers is essential to evolve and enhance the product's architecture.
Responsibilities include maintaining and improving CI, infrastructure automation, background jobs, and testing.
The candidate will create well-tested, type-safe code that is easy to understand and contribute to.
The primary programming languages at Prisma are TypeScript and Rust, with a focus on TypeScript for this role.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with expertise in TypeScript, back-end development, and API design.
They should be comfortable orchestrating, integrating, and automating to achieve reliable, performant, and observable distributed systems.
A product mindset, knowledge of system design, security, and automation, as well as strong communication skills in English are required.
The candidate should enjoy working collaboratively, seeking feedback, and helping others.
Requirements:
5+ years experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on developer tools, back-end development, integration of 3rd party services, and API design.
Fluent in TypeScript or experience with types in another language.
Comfortable orchestrating, integrating, and automating to achieve reliable, performant, and observable distributed systems.
Passion, curiosity, and knowledge of system design, security, and automation.
Product mindset and experience building and maintaining large-scale apps.
Fluent communication in English and ability to express thoughts clearly in writing.
Enjoy working closely with peers, seeking feedback, and helping others.
