Description:

  • Webflow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Webflow Labs team, focusing on developing new products that advance visual development.
  • The role is full-time, permanent, and remote-first for the United States and specific regions in Canada.
  • The Senior Software Engineer will report to the Chief Architect and work on prototyping new software development workflows and services.
  • Responsibilities include developing new capabilities and extensions on top of the core Webflow product using technologies like Javascript, React.js, Node.js, GraphQL, MongoDB, and AWS.
  • The position involves collaborating with the team to identify high-impact opportunities, driving technical initiatives, and engaging in rapid feedback cycles from customers.
  • The role offers the opportunity for personal development and incorporating individual interests into the job.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 3-5+ years of experience in scalable, multi-tenant environments and 1+ year of experience owning a larger application or system.
  • The ideal candidate should be comfortable steering the strategic direction of a product, have experience across the full software engineering stack (Frontend, Backend, Infra), and with cloud services like edge compute, CDNs, and distributed data stores.
  • Experience with internet scale architectures and workloads is required.
