The Senior Software Engineer will be a key member of the engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated software solutions.
The role involves conducting threat modeling, architecture reviews, security assessments, and penetration testing across various applications and services.
The engineer will perform in-depth security reviews of new application features and identify security vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities include documenting security best practices, developing tools for automating security vulnerability detection, and integrating mitigation controls into CI/CD processes.
The position requires collaboration with engineering and operations teams to enhance cloud security architecture and compliance with security standards.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance/Security, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering or a related occupation is necessary.
At least 4 years of experience in software security architecture, design review, threat modeling, and security code review is required.
Proficiency in AWS security, penetration testing, and familiarity with security technologies such as VPC, IAM, and KMS is essential.
Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of best practices and mitigations for application security and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
