Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Workato is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join their team in Tbilisi, Georgia.
• The role involves designing, building, and optimizing complex UI for a modern integration platform using advanced JavaScript, HTML, and CSS technologies.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with product, design, and back-end teams to develop innovative features, building efficient and reusable front-end components, resolving performance issues, and contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for details, high standards for code quality, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup-like environment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of front-end focused Software Development experience.
• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent academic background.
• Proficiency in Angular version 2 and above, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
• Experience in building responsive web interfaces, cross-browser compatibility, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with web security, SEO, accessibility, and performance optimizations.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices, coding standards, source control management, testing, and operations.
• Experience delivering large-scale web applications, QA automation processes, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and Unix command line interface.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and contributions to open source projects.
• Strong sense of good UX design and willingness to go the extra mile for quality and efficiency.
