Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Updater, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design and develop high-quality, scalable solutions while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• This role requires a proven track record of delivering robust software in a fast-paced environment, alongside exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
• You will own end-to-end development of key features and play a critical role in shaping our products and technical practices.
• Responsibilities include full-cycle software development, cross-functional collaboration, code quality and technical leadership, mentorship and team development, innovation and continuous improvement, and documentation and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript) and a deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-based architectures are required.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
• Strong analytical skills for tackling complex technical challenges under tight deadlines are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required; candidates should be comfortable working in diverse, cross-functional teams.
• A willingness to learn and pivot to new technologies, tools, and best practices is expected.
