Description:
The Senior Software Engineer position is fully remote and based in the United States.
The role involves working on the Legion application, a high-performance Java enterprise application with scheduling and optimization algorithms.
Responsibilities include developing features, assisting with feature design, writing secure and efficient Java code, and ensuring product quality.
The position requires knowledge and experience in Java, data modeling, relational databases, Springboot, Hibernate, MySQL, JSON, and containerization.
Frontend experience in JavaScript, Angular, and/or React is a plus.
The role involves working on AWS and developing distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Professional software development experience.
Proficiency in Java or C++, and object-oriented design skills.
Experience in application architecture, design patterns, and serving as a technical lead throughout the software development lifecycle.
Knowledge of coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Experience in developing distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications.
Benefits:
