Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer position is fully remote and based in the United States.
• The role involves working on the Legion application, a high-performance Java enterprise application with scheduling and optimization algorithms.
• Responsibilities include developing features, assisting with feature design, writing secure and efficient Java code, and ensuring product quality.
• The position requires knowledge and experience in Java, data modeling, relational databases, Springboot, Hibernate, MySQL, JSON, and containerization.
• Frontend experience in JavaScript, Angular, and/or React is a plus.
• The role involves working on AWS and developing distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java or C++, and object-oriented design skills.
• Experience in application architecture, design patterns, and serving as a technical lead throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Experience in developing distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications.
