Description:
Zencore is a fast-growing company founded by former Google Cloud leaders, architects, and engineers.
The company is seeking candidates with significant experience in Google Cloud to join their team.
The role involves eliminating obstacles, reducing risk, and accelerating timelines for customers transitioning to Google and seeking assistance with data and application modernization.
As a member of the Cloud Engineering team, you will work with innovative companies, leveraging Cloud as the key driver of their transformation.
You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them along their Google Cloud journey.
Responsibilities include understanding client requirements, developing technical designs, creating delivery estimates, and leading implementation project teams.
You will utilize a broad range of technologies such as Kubernetes, AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to develop scalable and efficient cloud applications.
Staying updated on industry trends and new technologies is essential for driving continuous improvement in cloud solutions.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions, from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.
Engaging in problem-solving and troubleshooting to address complex technical challenges in a cloud environment is also part of the role.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience working in a Software Engineering capacity.
Excellent knowledge and experience with Python is required, and familiarity with additional languages such as Go is preferred.
Strong critical thinking skills and a bias towards problem-solving are essential.
Familiarity with implementing microservice architectures is necessary.
Fundamental skills with Kubernetes, including packaging and deploying applications to Kubernetes, are required.
Experience building applications that work with data, databases, and other parts of the data ecosystem is preferred.
Familiarity with Generative AI workflows, frameworks like Langchain, and experience with Streamlit are highly desirable, but a willingness to learn is a minimum requirement.
Experience deploying production workloads on public cloud platforms, either GCP or AWS, is necessary.
Experience using CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab is required.
Candidates should be able to work with new tools and technologies where they may not have prior experience.
Comfort with being on video in meetings internally and with clients is essential.
Strong English communication skills are required.
