Remote Senior Software Engineer - Access

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will work on the Trust Access team at Cash App, responsible for authentication and authorization.
• They will design, build, and maintain APIs and services for Cash App's authentication and authorization processes.
• The role involves evolving the architecture to support growth in customers and developers, collaborating with product management and design, mentoring team members, and contributing to the tech community.
• The Access team ensures safe and reliable access for millions of customers while minimizing barriers to entry into the financial system.
• Technologies used include Java, Kotlin, Golang, HTTP, JSON, gRPC, MySQL, Kafka, AWS, and more.

Requirements:

• Must be based in PST due to collaboration with the team in Australia.
• 5+ years of experience in building and operating quality software.
• Demonstrated technical initiative on previous projects.
• Strong communication skills and customer empathy.
• High technical standards in software testing and delivery.
• Growth mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
• Bonus: Experience with product security and authN/authZ standards, working in large codebases, and distributed teams.
