Description:

• The Ads Contextual Intelligence team at Reddit focuses on contextualization projects within the Reddit Monetization charter.
• They work on automating the understanding of user and advertiser content at scale to improve marketplace efficiency and provide Business Intelligence insights.
• The team specializes in areas like Knowledge Graph, Contextual Signals, Marketplace Efficiency, and Business Intelligence Applications.
• Responsibilities include implementing backend services, collaborating with ML Engineers, ensuring system reliability and performance, participating in code reviews, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer developing production code.
• Proficiency in at least one general programming language like Ruby or Python.
• Preferred experience in Message Queuing Services, Data Processing Frameworks, Key Value Stores, Document-based DBs, and Container Orchestration.
• Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
