Description:

Nexleaf Analytics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, AI & Backend to design and scale their cloud-based data platform.
The platform collects and analyzes data from remote locations and connects to numerous IoT/M2M devices globally.
The engineer will be responsible for architecting, optimizing, and maintaining backend services that provide AI-driven insights for health organizations.
Candidates should have hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI solutions into production systems.
The role involves working closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to ensure AI tools are scalable and effective.
Responsibilities include facilitating technical decision-making, driving execution and strategy, architecting AI solutions, optimizing systems for reliability, collaborating cross-functionally, conducting code reviews, and mentoring team members.

Requirements:

A BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering with Python or equivalent languages.
Experience with modern backend frameworks, particularly Django, is preferred.
Strong experience in integrating LLMs into production systems, including RAG, embeddings, and fine-tuning is necessary.
Familiarity with AI model orchestration and multi-agent frameworks is required.
Experience in designing and managing data systems, including vector databases for AI applications, is essential.
Proven experience in shipping AI-powered applications into production and ensuring their reliability at scale is needed.
Experience in deploying and maintaining applications in cloud environments, preferably AWS or GCP, is required.
