Description:

Vanta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their AI Platform, with a mission to secure the internet and protect consumer data.
The role involves shaping Vanta’s AI offerings, improving systems, and setting technical strategy for end-to-end ML/AI architecture.
The engineer will be part of the core AI team, collaborating with product engineers, machine learning engineers, product managers, and security experts.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing AI-powered features, improving AI infrastructure, and mentoring junior team members.
The engineer will work to unblock product strategy by addressing pain points in AI development and making effective tradeoffs.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of industry experience as a software engineer.
Experience in designing, building, and scaling full-stack applications, including backend systems, APIs, and frontend interfaces is required.
Familiarity with GenAI or applied ML for product creation and user problem-solving is necessary.
Understanding of how to improve ML systems, create evaluation sets, and drive quality improvements is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable operating across the stack: frontend, API, backend, and database.
Experience in rapidly scaling startups and large companies, particularly in action-oriented environments, is preferred.
A proactive, action-driven approach with a focus on user engagement is important.

Vanta offers industry-competitive compensation and a base pay range of $150,000 - $200,000.
