Webflow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Applied AI team to develop generative AI-powered features.
The role aims to enhance the speed, creativity, and quality of website building and design through AI.
The position is remote-first, available to candidates in the United States and parts of Canada.
The cash compensation is based on geographic location, experience, and skills, with specific salary ranges provided for different zones.
Responsibilities include staying updated on AI/ML advancements, integrating third-party AI APIs, collaborating with product and design teams, improving developer processes, and maintaining tests for generative AI outputs.
The role requires a deep understanding of the architecture and codebase, fostering an environment of creativity and growth.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in full-stack, product-focused software engineering with a proven track record of shipping impactful products.
A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies is required.
Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript is essential.
Candidates should have an understanding of AI/ML concepts, including large language models and prompt engineering.
Experience in measuring and improving the quality of large language model outputs is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug production issues across multiple layers of the stack are required.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills are needed to convey complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.
A passion for delivering business value through fast iteration and a collaborative spirit is essential.
