Description:
Webflow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Analytics to join their Analytics Engineering team.
The role is remote-first, based in Mexico City, and is a full-time permanent position.
The cash compensation for this role ranges from MXN 836,400 to MXN 1,100,000, depending on the candidate's geographic location, experience, and skills.
Responsibilities include collaborating with designers, PMs, data scientists, and engineers to build product capabilities, developing APIs, and creating visualizations for analytics products.
The engineer will tackle complex technical challenges, apply web best practices, and build software that tracks analytics events to improve website performance.
Participation in all engineering activities, including incident response, interviewing, and code reviews, is expected.

Requirements:
Candidates must have business-level fluency in English and reside in Mexico City or the surrounding boroughs.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping features and products is required.
Full-stack development experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript is necessary.
Familiarity with web security concepts, analytics platforms, and event tracking tools like Google Analytics or Mixpanel is essential.
Knowledge of OLAP DBMS and a strong understanding of web development best practices, including responsive design and accessibility standards, is required.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams are important.
Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT is needed.
Candidates should be eager to learn new technologies and comfortable debugging production issues across services.
A proactive approach to taking ownership of projects and communicating trade-offs throughout a project is expected.
Comfort in working in an agile environment is necessary.
