Description:

  • The Senior Software Engineer, Analytics position at Webflow involves collaborating with designers, PMs, data scientists, and engineers to plan and build product capabilities for visual development goals.
  • The role requires working across the tech stack to build APIs and develop visualizations for analytics products.
  • Responsibilities include solving technical challenges on a geographically distributed team, applying web best practices, and building software to track analytics events for data insights.
  • The position involves participating in all engineering activities, improving planning, development, and deployment processes, and impacting all Webflow customers with production code.
  • The role also includes supporting personal development opportunities and interests within the job scope.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in shipping features and products.
  • Full-stack development experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript is required.
  • Familiarity with web security concepts, analytics platforms, event tracking tools like Google Analytics or Mixpanel, and OLAP DBMS is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of web development best practices, responsive design, accessibility standards, and authentication mechanisms like JWT is essential.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams are a must.
  • The ability to debug production issues, take ownership of projects, and work in an agile environment is required.
  • Candidates should be eager to learn new technologies, think through technical problems, and work in a collaborative, distributed team.
