The role is for a Senior Software Engineer to work on a project in the banking sector.
The project involves a distributed team developing new technologies to address real business problems for an Irish client offering products in wealth management, capital markets, and real estate.
The position requires good communication skills, proactivity, decision-making experience, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities include coordinating with business users and stakeholders to develop technical solutions, ensuring solutions are tested, supporting production systems, and contributing to team goals and technology trends.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience with client-side JavaScript technologies, specifically AngularJS and Angular2+ frameworks.
Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, Bootstrap framework, and CSS.
Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with modern browser technologies and JSON over REST-based data exchange.
Ability to design secure web applications, particularly with charting in JavaScript.
Experience in building and debugging complex systems within a team environment.
Expertise in creating complex layouts using CSS and HTML, along with modern front-end tooling.
Experience in investigating and enhancing front-end performance.
Familiarity with IDE and GIT-based source control tools.
Experience working within a recognized software development lifecycle, preferably Agile.
Desirable experience with server-side technologies such as Java, NPM, SASS, React, single-page applications, mobile app technologies, and Thymeleaf.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
