Triptease is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their remote-first team located in Spain, Portugal, or the UK.
The company focuses on building technology that helps hotels thrive in a digital world dominated by Online Travel Agents.
The role involves solving complex problems, collaborating with a team, and experimenting with new technologies to enhance user experiences and design scalable systems.
Daily responsibilities include collaborating within a cross-functional squad, pair programming, designing and implementing systems using TypeScript, Node, and React, and integrating AI tools into user-facing features.
The tech stack includes TypeScript, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, Google Cloud Run, Kubernetes, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong front-end skills with expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Web Components, capable of building clean and accessible interfaces.
Experience in system design is required, specifically in creating scalable and maintainable platforms in high-growth environments.
A data-driven mindset is essential, with experience using product analytics to inform UI/UX decisions and optimize user flows.
Curiosity for AI and automation is important, especially if the candidate has experience with LLMs or automation tools.
The ideal candidate should prioritize collaboration, enjoy pair programming, mentoring, and co-creating in a shared codebase.
A rapid learner and experimenter who can iterate quickly and deliver value early while keeping the end user in mind is preferred.
