Description:

Zoomo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Technology Team, focusing on building the next generation fleet management system for light electric vehicles (LEVs).
The role involves developing business-critical software solutions that will have a significant impact on customers across Europe, the Americas, and Australia.
Responsibilities include owning and delivering features throughout the software development lifecycle, maintaining coding quality, and implementing new architectures using best practices.
The position primarily focuses on backend development, with opportunities to work on frontend tasks as well.
Daily tasks include collaborating with team members to deliver technical vision, independently scoping and implementing new features, engaging in software architecture discussions, and coaching other engineers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in building, shipping, and maintaining highly scalable web applications.
Fluency in Typescript and familiarity with at least one other statically typed language is required.
Experience in writing unit and integration tests is essential.
Strong knowledge of architectural designs and best practices is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in building and documenting REST APIs.
Experience in deploying applications in the cloud, preferably using GCP, is required.
Familiarity with deployment pipelines, such as GitHub Actions or Cloud Build, is necessary.
