Remote Senior Software Engineer

• The Content Solutions Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the Acquia DAM and PIM product line, used by over 800 customers worldwide.
• The Senior Software Engineer will implement modern software in a fast-paced environment, focusing on innovation, collaboration, and agile processes.
• The technology stack includes Java, React, Typescript, GitHub, Groovy, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Opensearch, Docker, AWS, Slack, and JIRA.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with engineers, designers, product managers, and product owners across US and India, writing quality code, designing unit and automated tests, conducting code reviews, and maintaining applications and services.
• The role requires supporting collaboration across US CST and PST time zones and driving desired customer outcomes by understanding the problems being solved.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Expertise in Java and familiarity with React/Typescript is required.
• Candidates should have experience writing and consuming REST APIs in a containerized microservice ecosystem.
• Strong experience with search engines like Elasticsearch and Opensearch is necessary.
• Experience working with AWS and writing SQL for relational databases is required.
• Proficiency in using Git and writing unit and automated tests for backend applications is essential.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and a working knowledge of software design principles and programming languages is needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and documentation skills are mandatory.
