Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer with a Back-End focus at Kin, you will be responsible for developing the products and features that drive Kin's operations.
The tech stack includes Ruby environments, Typescript front-ends, and PostgreSQL databases, with the application of Scrum methodologies.
You will tackle complex engineering challenges, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers.
Daily tasks may involve writing clean and efficient code in Ruby, Python, and Typescript, leading pair programming sessions, driving design tasks, participating in stand-ups and retros, and providing subject matter expertise.

Requirements:

Demonstrated track record of delivering large, complex software projects.
Proficiency in languages like Ruby, Python, or Typescript.
Experience in architectural design and articulating the value of technical investments.
Ability to mentor engineers and work with modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks.
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment and located in Central or Eastern US time zones.
Must have a fast learning ability and be self-motivated.
