Description:

Fullstory is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on backend development, specifically on the ingestion pipeline.
This role can be performed remotely anywhere within the United States.
The mission of Fullstory is to help teams create amazing online experiences by leveraging expertise in distributed systems and computer science.
The Data Pipeline services at Fullstory process hundreds of thousands of browser and mobile application event bundles every second.
The engineer will work on evolving a reliable, secure, performant, and cost-efficient foundation for capturing and processing session data.
This data supports product analytics features and data analytics and machine learning systems.
Daily tasks may include engineering distributed systems using Go, Kubernetes, and GCP, exploring new feature ideas, ensuring quality and reliability of capture and extraction systems, and collaborating on the technical roadmap for Ingestion services.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a strong understanding of distributed architectures and experience tackling capacity and performance challenges with data at scale.
Experience writing Golang code in production is required.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and supporting highly available and reliable cloud-based microservices in production is necessary.
Candidates should have experience working on asynchronous or streaming ingestion and processing systems and frameworks.
